Vladimir Sukhin - tenor
Born April 22, 1966 Education Drogobich Music College; Kyiv State University of Culture and Arts, choir conductor In ManSound since 1994 How did you join ManSound? We have known each other for ages. We were on tours together, and then decided to try a new project and if successful, go on. Thank God, we are still working together to this day. Your role in ManSound I sing middle tenor. I am a part of the group and I hope, an irreplaceable part. About the group This is creative unity, a phenomenon in music. Your Favorite music Just good music. Classical, jazz, contemporary. In classical music I prefer the works of Vivaldi, Bach, and Beethoven. I like Sting and Take 6. Modern music doesn't do much for me, but sometimes I can listen to Alsou. Your occupation outside of ManSound I'm a father of three children and I spend my spare time with my family. I am happy and relaxed. But the entire band laughs at me, because I've been building my house for 3 years. About work Working in ManSound is the realization of an accumulation of knowledge that I got with my musical education, though, to be honest the institute was a bunch of tomfoolery. I do what I do with great pleasure; this is part of my life and I stake everything on it. We have had lots of shows and it's hard to remember a singularly special one, but fortunately, we've never had slack or boring performances, we are always well received. Have four or five gigs a month is an absolute must. Stage performance is a summary ? the summation of rehearsals and studio work; it's the final result. It's contact with the public, emotions that you cannot compare with anything else; it's the audience's eyes, their flowers, it's autographs. Artists need all this. You realize, that you are loved, recognized, and that people come to your shows. It is very important. Your ambitions As a group, we want to win the corner of the market we're aiming for. We have destination to grow up. Of course, we would like to sell millions of albums . . . What about my personal ambitions? I'll write music and do some arrangements when my house is finished. About the group We all love what we do. There's no pressure, we all approach new compositions with great desire and want to introduce them into our repertoire as fast as possible.
